Our story began in a small family kitchen, where the aroma of freshly roasted groundnuts always brought people together. Today, that same love for simple, wholesome ingredients guides everything we do. We partner with hardworking local farmers who grow the finest groundnuts under the warm Ghanaian sun. Then we carefully process them using hygienic, modern methods with no additives, no preservatives, and no shortcuts.

Brief About Us
The word Sunkwa is an Akan word which means “Pray for life” but in the context of our brand, we believe it could also mean ‘Life is Precious’. It suggests nourishment, care, tradition, and value, which aligns perfectly with what our groundnut paste represents.
At Sunkwa Groundnuts and paste, we believe food should be both nourishing and rooted in tradition. That’s why we’ve dedicated ourselves to creating premium-quality groundnut paste made from nothing but 100% natural groundnuts, roasted, blended, and bottled right here in Ghana.
